A Note From Hagberg’s Regarding Coronavirus.
We are in some unique times. During this challenging situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19), nothing is more important to us at Hagberg’s than the health and safety of our staff and customers.
We have many things to consider as we modify our plans and store operation to adjust to changing protocols.
Our primary concern is to make sure that our friends and families that have become used to our consistency of quality, safety, and service find a comforting and familiar place to shop.
Our commitment to providing a safe, comfortable place for you and your family will require more of our staff time to making sure we have done everything we can do to sanitize the facilities. On top of this, there are the realities of the fresh meat supply chain. For example, our producers (family farmers) have schedules based on a commitment to quality.
As this is all new to all of us and we need to find a way through this, this is our plan:
Beginning Thursday, March 26, 2020, until further notice, we will temporarily adjust our operating hours to 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., seven days a week, to give us opportunities to build supply and add extra attention to sanitizing contact surfaces. We hope that this will allow us to more safely and efficiently provide you with the best food possible.
Here is what we ask of our customers:
If you are concerned about your wellness, please contact us about what help we can offer.
When visiting the store, be mindful of your bare hand contact. If you cannot provide your own protection (gloves), please ask for some at the cashier station.
Please honor the expected “social distance.” Think of two arms lengths. Help us at service counters by being aware of the “queue,” prove everybody right about Minnesota Nice!
Please understand that there will be “limits” on quantities of items. While they may seem arbitrary and fluctuating (they are), they are based on our ability to procure and produce.
Stick with us! Our goal is to be here for the long haul with a commitment to quality. After all, grandpa started this over 80 years ago.
Billy and Melissa and all of us here at Hagberg’s.
