Why Hagberg’s Is Different: Quality, Tradition, and a Little Extra Care.

At Hagberg’s, we’ve never been ones to take shortcuts. We still smoke our meats the old-fashioned way, just like our family has done for generations. And those little secrets, like the little extra time Billy takes to leave the perfect amount of fat when trimming steaks? They’ve been handed down over decades.

We also work hard to source locally whenever possible. In fact, many of our best finds come right from a lot closer than you might think. Our relationships with local farmers and producers help us provide quality meats, fresh produce, dairy, and groceries that you just can’t get at the big chain stores. Supporting our local economy is just as important to us as providing top-notch products.

We also go the extra mile when it comes to products like our brats and sausages. Sure, we recently added new equipment to make production easier, but the magic is still in the details. In addition to our fresh meat case, we have a variety of brats, sausages, and our popular stuffed breakfast patties available in our freezers. All our freezer items are made fresh and vacuum-sealed in-house, a higher-quality method of packaging. That means when you thaw and cook them, they taste just as good as the day they were packaged – no freezer burns, no extra liquid, no discoloration.

It’s not always the fastest or easiest way to do things, but at Hagberg’s, we believe it’s the best way. Fresh or frozen, every bite is crafted with care and dedication, because quality isn’t something we compromise on.
