I’m really proud of what we do here at Hagberg’s, especially our meat case. Honestly, I’m never happier than when I’m behind the glass getting cuts ready. I’ve been doing this a long time, and yeah, I’m pretty darn handy with a sharp knife if I do say so myself. But my pride doesn’t come just from being a good butcher. It comes from what’s on the other side of that glass.

Our meat case has been the heart of Hagberg’s for generations, and every now and then, I have to remind myself just how special what we offer really is. We work hard to source and prepare the best meats we can find, but it’s more than that. The variety alone is something you just don’t see around here.

Sure, we’ve got 18 rotating brat flavors. Yes, we’ve got all the familiar and popular cuts. And we’re always happy to custom-cut pretty much anything the way our customers like it. But that’s just the beginning. We regularly feature more unique offerings like skirt steaks, picanha, short ribs, chuck eyes, baseball cuts, flat irons, rib roasts… honestly, the list goes on and on. And then there are all our own popular creations, including mashed potato-stuffed chicken breasts, the Screamin’ Bobby, Phil’s Bombs, Cubano, Jerry’s Fingers, dressing-stuffed pork chops, you name it.

Bottom line? You can buy a steak almost anywhere. But you won’t find a meat case with this kind of selection and quality anywhere close to Hagberg’s. Add in the attention to detail my dad taught me, and it’s something I’m really, really proud of.
